Re: Citroen C2
Having the battery go flat can cause problems with the electronic ECUs in the vehicle. Think of them like small computers - they should be powered up and shut down properly. When you have a power cut, they don't have a chance to close down properly and this can cause problems. These cars also like a healthy battery, so make sure it's charged up. You can try the following BSI reset procedure, which will properly allow the car's network and all the ECUs to close down, then power up again.
Follow it without skipping any parts - the timings are minimums - don't open doors, windows or operate any equipment whilst performing the procedure. This will reset the BSI and all the ECUs and may cure your problem. If not let us know.

Re: Citroen C2
If you read my procedure, that question is covered. The open window part is just so you can get into the vehicle in an emergency whilst undertaking the procedure - it has no impact.
