Hi. I have a relay 2.2 hdi 2007 with 86k miles .
The engine has got a knock and wondering if you guys have had anything similar?

Doesn't sound very happy....
My immediate thoughts are the crank pulley or the DMF. Does it change if you load up the alternator and/or if you press the clutch or go to pull away?

This is the transit engine. They are renowned for problems. Injectors, high pressure pumps, metering valves, pistons, crankshafts, crank pulleys and DMFs.. Visit some of the transit forums for more enlightenment.
