Hey all,

Very glad I found this forum hope you guys can help me out. Just bought my PEUGEOT EXPERT '08 with the 2.0D engine. was running fine but same time have a problem with acceleration ,foot to the floor and not going anywhere, van is jerky and after a while there will be black smoke. Thereafter, back to normal, there is no engine check light, I put diagnostic on it and came up with P1351 P1198 P0299 Any help would be appreciated. .

Have you changed the fuel and air filters ? other than that get the injector pump pressure checked or the injectors may need cleaning ?

P1351 is glowplugs - you can ignore that
P1198 Pump rotor control Underfuelling - SID801 - Diesel high pressure monitoring. Flow regulator at stop.
P0299 Turbo pressure signal - Pressure too low

Odd that it occurs intermittently; I would start by changing the fuel filter. After that not sure, has it done lots of miles?

Check your vacuum hoses for split's and if they're OK clean injectors 5£ kerosine into diesel give a good rip if none of the above work check timing next possibility is turbo function
