replacing a sump on a Xantia 1.9TD XUD9

Hi,

does anyone or has anyone had experience of replacing the sump on an XUD9 1.9td engine
please? my 1998 S-reg has air-con and garages seem to want to make it sound complex because it has air-con.
Ive had a look at the citroen service site diagrams inputting my vin number
and I certainly cannot see anything untoward that might be causing this uncertainty about the air-con models.

your advice /guidance would be appreciated very much so as always.

and yes I over tightened my sump nut causing a nasty leak #-o I have managed to find an after market alloy sump/gasket & plug for 60 quid.
Citroen Xantia S2 1.9 TD estate 189K soon to be broken for parts Jan 2017 headlamps & radiator fan assembly already spoken for & A 1987 Citroen 2CV6 special just for fun.
New addition Citroen C5 2.0 HDi Exclusive Hatch purchased 09/12/2016 with 83K on the clock.
