C4GP Cruise Control Smell
What could cause a smell whilst using cruise control? The cruise control appears to work fine, however when i do use it, i always get a burny type smell, i can smell it when i get out of the car if i have just stopped using it and i can also smell it when i am in the car with the fan on.

Re: C4GP Cruise Control Smell
If it is a newer type of cruise control, the one which can not only maintain the set speed, but also break if necessary (in case of the slower car in front) it might be possible that the car is applying breaks when driving ... but, this should be fairly simple to test, the "burning" smell would be from the front wheel brakes, and the brake discs would be extremely hot to the touch
