Hi all
my xantia would not start today and it turned out to be the fuel pump under the rear seat compartment, having given it a bash like I used to do with the Mini pumps years ago it started, my question is, do I need to buy a new pump, which are quite expensive or is there a less expensive fix, if not where is the best place to buy a new one, many thanks for any replies.

Re: 2000 xantia 2.0 hdi fuel pump
Bill, it's always a good idea to swap the fuel filter housing and filter when replacing the pump just in case the old pump has started to break up and fragments have ended up in the filter housing. If those fragments find their way into the fuel system proper beyond the filter they can wreak havoc...
