Hi,
Does anybody know what happens with the central locking when the car a Xsara is locked/unlocked using the key in the driver door lock?
Do all the doors open, due to the central locking or does the drivers door lock/unlock only.
Thanks

If the electrics are working properly then all the doors will unlock.
Be aware if you locked the car with remote and then unlock with the key then the alarm system is still set so it will go off when you open the door. Best get the key in the ignition and turned as soon as possible!

Hi Paul,
The weird thing I have is, the central locking works when the ignition is on and the manual method via the button works, mainly through changing the lock mechanism and wiring loom.
I am not sure what else I can do to power the central locking when the key is not in the ignition.

Ah yes, I remember your previous problem now. If the fault hasn't been fixed then I really don't know.
