Radio Wiring, 405 stdt

Hi There,
I want to change the Cassette player in my 405 stdt for my MD player, when i take it out it has just one big white din plug for the speakers, anyone know the pin outs for this, and where it might go to, does it go to an amp maybe.
also if i change the player will the steering column volume control still work?

I believe there are steering control adaptors available for certain models of Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood and JVC. Check out www.caraudiodirect.co.uk they cost about £30 a pop here but may be sourced cheaper elsewhere. Not very good with wires so cant help with ur other prob.
