Lighting stalk - c4 grand Picasso exclusive blue hdi

Any idea what the push button on the end of the lighting stalk do? I read somewhere that it repeats the last satnav instruction - but it doesn't). I've been through the manual and I can't find any explanation. Does anyone out there know?

It actually does that, nothing more, but it depends on the actual nav unit in the car, since there are several types available
