Morning all,
I'm all set to top up the 'Particulate Filter Additive' tank on my 2010 C5 2.0 HDI (160).
I've got the correct fluid and all the gubbins to get it into the tank but I'm struggling to find out how to reset the counter.
Everything I've found on here and the rest of the internet seems to point to accessing the additive ECU and resetting it in there.
I've looked in my Diagbox 7.01 and I can't find any such option.
Can anybody help?
What is the procedure for resetting the counter for a C5 X7 using Diagbox 7.01?
Please!

Re: C5 X7 Eolys Reset in Diagbox?
The C5 X7s don't have a seperate Additive ECU like the previous models IIRC - it is all handled by the Engine ECU - so unless somebody comes back with the exact menu location within Diagbox, I would suggest doing your global test and then selecting the engine ECU - from there, it is likely there will be a maintenance or configuration menu that should contain a section for the additive top up. Just back-put of any option you are not sure of - but it should be clearly referenced for the particulate filter section.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Thanks Marc,
I've had another look tonight and I reckon I've found it buried in various menus to do with the injection/ignition section.
I'll hopefully do the job tomorrow and report back.

Well that's not exactly gone to plan.
I've had no problems getting the fluid into the tank but the counter will not reset.
After working through various menus I finish up on 'Top up diesel additive tank'. I press the green tick to validate and all I then get is a message of 'Condition unsatisfactory'.
Any ideas anybody?

Re: C5 X7 Eolys Reset in Diagbox?
So after a spot of breakfast I went back to it.
I don't know exactly what went on but after turning the ignition off then back on it said something like 'now turn the ignition off then on', then it said 'learning' then something like 'programming complete' or whatever.
I think that has probably sorted it but I suppose time will tell.
I put the full 3 litres into the tank and it still wasn't overflowing so it must have been pretty low (although there were no warning messages displayed yet).

...and this was by far the cheapest I could get the fluid from:
http://www.eurocarcare.net/oil-and-flui ... itres.html
Excellent service too. Arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered it.
Local dealers wanted over £150.00.
