xantia 1.9TD wont start

<b>Help Needed Please</b>
I <b></b>am having problems starting my xantia 1.9TD 1997 .Central locking works, battery fully charged, horn works,RED led flashing on key pad,headlights work and dont dim when left on for short while "30 sec".when i turn ignition on there are no lights on dash board that light up at all.There could be water some where as it has been a wet few days.cheers

Hi,
Welcome to the forum!
It sounds like either you have blown one or more of the main fuses (which I think are under the bonnet) or your igniton barrel has failed. Presumably when you switch the ignition on you are not getting ANY electrical functions (eg radio, indicators, wipers)? If you are not reasonably competent with car electrics, then it is probably best to bite the bullet and find a mobile auto electrician in Yellow Pages, as electrical faults are notoriously difficult to track down - especially over the internet!
Worth checking for a start that the battery terminals are tight and that the earth points near the battery look OK, and have a look at all the fuses (under the flap above the driver's right knee - there may also be some under the bonnet, can't remember!).
