Peugeot 307 Eolys tank removal
Has anyone removed or know how hard it is to take the Eolys tank out of a Peugeot 307 2.0 hdi.
I have been told that the pump needs replacing! To replace the pump do I need to drop the whole additive tank out?
Cheers

I'm not sure if the pump is readily available separately, unless you get one from a breakers yard. Removal of the tank is easy enough, unbolt the strap and heat shield, drop the tank (take precautions to avoid spillage) and away you go.

Ok cheers for that! Also will I need to plug it into Peugeot planet to get rid of the low additive message on the dash?

I'm about 90% sure yes you will. However once its got additive in it, it will function as far as I'm aware just the message will annoy.Dcourt wrote:Ok cheers for that! Also will I need to plug it into Peugeot planet to get rid of the low additive message on the dash?

Got the additive tank out but can't see a pump! Would it be build in with the tank?

I assume it's part of the tank, since a new one costs £250

The pump is part of the tank, so you're best off replacing the full tank.Dcourt wrote:Yeah I'm gunna have a look for a secondhand one from a breakers yard! Does is have to be reset by Peugeot planet or can any diagnostic reader do it?
You do need PP to reset the counters, Diagbox works too
Re: Peugeot 307 Eolys tank removal
Got the tank, should I fit it and then fill it with fluid or fill it first then fit it?
Re: Peugeot 307 Eolys tank removal

They would need to know where you are (approximately) then contact you via PM.Dcourt wrote:Replaced tank, message still comes up tho! Anyone local to me that has Peugeot planet that would plug it in and reset it for me?
This list and map might help you contact an owner yourself.
