I am very dissatisfied with my OEM radio. I did not look what make it is but while it was quite easy to do it with the radios in my pre-Forte cars, including LX and SX, I am unable to stop the scanning in the right place, it takes cassettes only and has no face socket to plug other players in. I'm looking for a different radio which would be compatible with the car's connector. I don't need the CD changer but I would like it to take the CDs (and preferably the cassettes too as I try to polish my German on my long drives to Durness from London). Would someone, please, kindly recommend me the right model?

Re: Xantia Forte HDi newish radio sought
Following my post of 28th June, I think I have found a brilliant solution. At just under £150, including installation, it's not cheap but it's a wholly Brawe New World! It's ebay item 180975896802.
