Re: Paint code
If you have the door column sticker that says your vin, the color code is also written there ... it looks like this:

Re: Paint code
After a bit of searching, I managed to discover that myself, mine just has a 3 letter code,KJF which relates to Rouge Ardent. Would this be translated to English as Ardent Red? I know that's what it means in English, but when getting paint mixed, do I ask for the English or French version?

Re: Paint code
The code is all they need, they have the names regardless of language, it's the code that's important.

Re: Paint code
I was proving the code relationships mine being KJC, Eritrea red which is correct, so your code being KJF is Ardent Red.

Re: Paint code

Re: Paint code
Thanks... Halfords typed in my registration plate and decided it was their wicked red... But it looks too light, even after clear coat etc
Confused as to why there's a 4 didgits code kkQD which is null on the searches... So it's just last 3 right?? It's a 2009 2.0 exclusive tourer hdi automatic... More of a burgundy colour tbh
Help... Please ....

Re: Paint code
Ok, got it:
The first 3 letters are always the paint code, and the fourth letter is the type of finish - which will of course make a difference to the final look:
