HDI C5 DIESELING

Post by darbuck »

Hi lads,
I'm having two problems the most concerning being the car is dieseling for a couple of seconds after i knock it off and take keys out. lexia is saying fuel pressure regulator failed to stop could it be bad diesel or would it be the regulator as any faults i've come across with the regulator are non start issues rather than dieseling which is the other end of the scale.
the other problem is a brake fault indicating the brake switch is pressed permanently i have replaced switch and a damaged loom and two blown brake bulbs but fault wont go its a bsi fault im not as concerned about this as brakes seem ok and lights are coming on any input much appreciated.

Running on can be caused by the pressure regulator on the HP pump, at least it did on mine.
