Sphere Removal

Unread post by harryp »

Just come across this - sadly too far from Telford, but very cheap for anyone living nearby. Never see anything that reasonable near by :rofl2:
Might suit some of the Northern Brigade

That is the the genuine Pleiades sphere removal tool !

I bought mine at a car boot years ago when I had an XM, guaranteed to remove even the tightest spheres.

Pretty sure that is Pleiades - looks like it, and has Seven Stars on the handle.
Kink is probably down to exuberant use

That's the one Sticky !

In the ebay photo the 'kink' doesn't show but that kink is essential and makes it so much more usable than similar looking lightweight items that pop up on the net.

I see the cranked handle now, even in the photo. Me corrected too!

I had to check which Deeside it was first but I've put a bid in now to save the tool.

Just been outbid. Is it someone from here? In which case I'll drop out.

If you win would you like me to pick it up for you? I could also post it to you - can't understand why the seller says pick-up only for such a small item.
