C5 towbar - electric diagram

I want to install a tow bar on my C5 (mkII, 2007, petrol) and I would like to ask your help achieving the electrical diagram of the connection to the vehicle.

It first depends whether or not you want the genuine solution or not ... the genuine includes an extra ECU, some aftermarket solutions are directly hard-wired to the existing wiring (not good in the long run)

They will usually supply one with the kit. But as Vab says, getting a Citroen one will ensure that the car's safety systems are aware you are towing when hooked up and will activate differing modes for the ABS and the ESP to account for towing etc.
