Carpets?

Just whipped the rear carpets out of my xantia to clean them up. They're looking their 21yrs of age as large areas are no longer grey and appear more beige in colour. Anything i can do to colour them back up i wonder? Guessing not as they look fairly sun bleached after i've given what i thought was just dirt a good scrubbing!

Have you considered some tailored car mats - not that expensive:

It had always had tailored mats fitted. The areas away from the mats are discoloured so i'm guessing i just have to live with it.

I guess so - unless you really want to take the plunge and get some new car carpet and replace the lot! There's a classic car centre that does made to measure carpet - the DS is about £250-300 IIRC for pre-cut made to measure replacement - but the Xantia has a while to go yet until it's listed as a classic. Mind you I think they will make one up for you - but probably a few quid more!

Not really ... wondered if there was any spray on dyes? You know what i mean ... the sort of thing to colour a bald patch [emoji1]

Well how about this: These do a spray on carpet dye - link below and below that a Video of the product in use. Below that, if your carpet is Grey, Beal have grey only left at £1.20 a tin!

Wow, what a find ... just what i need [emoji106] Question now is which shade? Car is Storm Grey metallic 1995. Thinking dark grey or charcoal gey but to me they're one and the same colour.
