This car has done 130 000 miles. If I go though a pothole (there is one I can't avoid, close to my house) I get a knock from the front RH wheel (looking from inside the car). I don't get the knock if I go through potholes with other front wheel.
Tyre wear looks even, no real vibration at around 70mph.
Looking at 'track rod end' for C5 2009 on eBay I see it ain't as simple as it used to be. Could someone suggest which part I need - inner or outer; male or female.
2009 X7 - is this a track rod end problem?

Is it hydractive? I am not sure, but they maybe all have the swivel bearing which is a known trouble spot - both for wearing out, and being hell to change!! Have a look and see if there is rust deposits around the lower swivel.

It can also be leaking front strut, they tend to make noise.
