Recovery required for C5.

Post by hirsty »

My suspension pump has packed in without warning. I need to get the car from S.E. Sheffield to lighty's at Ilkeston. He has a replacement available and did a great job last time. The suspension is on service low and can't be driven. Any suggestions ? [-o<

I hate to state the obvious - but an off-road recovery as a minimum or more damage will occur for sure. Ring around for a few quotes - prices will vary.

I have succesfully driven XMs slowly with the suspension right down and the ride was surprisingly good on a smooth surface, don't know about the C5 though.

You can't drive the C5 with the suspension down and you need a proper recovery vehicle with slider bed to safely load it.
