I have an intermittent fault with the wipers. Twice I've had it booked to be looked at by the dealer, but it cleared itself each time before I got there. It will some times be fine for a week or so, and then be faulty for a week or so. It fixes itself at any time, whilst driving - one minute the fault is there, next it's not.
The problem is that they stop at any position on the screen after going for about 10 seconds, no matter what position the switch is in. I can go to flick wipe, intermittent(auto), normal or fast. Moving the switch between any of these positions casues the '10 second wipe' and stopping anywhere. Even when the switch is put in the off position, they finish the 10 seconds.
I'm pretty sure it's not the switch. It could be motor or relay. The problem first occured whilst still under Peugeot warranty, and they have sort of agreed to do it under warranty still, trouble is it never does it at the garage.
Anyone any idea?
