Did you "pump it up to high" before you jacked it up ?
Does it pump up on the button ?
Have you dislodged the height sensor dog-bone ?

Hello , I left the car in the normal position , jacked it up on the front end only. going to check fuses as cannot recall hearing a buzz sound when key in place. The car is stuck between low and normal level and try to pump it up with the buttons and it just flashes continuously and no movement .
I disconnected the battery for 1hr as well after and no joy. Plenty of fluid in the reservoir.

Did you follow the BSI reset procedure for disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery? Although you said you left it for an hour, not allowing the car networks to 'sleep' and 'wake' properly can play havoc with the car networks and ECUs - including the BHi pump. I'd suggest you lower drivers window and open bonnet - let the car 'sleep' for 5 minutes without touching anything, then disconnect the battery - leave it for a good 5-10 minutes and then follow the reconnect procedure. When that's done and everything is reinitialised, can you hear the pump cutting in at any time?
If the pump then works, a sequence of raising and lowering the suspension, turning the wheel lock to lock several times may clear any block without having to follow the procedure below - but in case you need it:
Here is the suspension / steering bleeding procedure - but you'll need to find a way to introduce the 0.5 pressure into the cap of the fluid reservoire.
5. Bleeding
Apply a pressure of 0,5 bar in the LDS fluid reservoir (using a FACOM 920 tool).
Start the engine.
Wait for the vehicle height to stabilise.
Place the suspension height control in the "HIGH" position.
Place the suspension height control in the "LOW" position.
Turn the steering from lock to lock in each direction.
Stop the engine.
Check the LDS fluid level.

It was the 50 amp fuse again , and it has just blown again this morning when I changed the front flat tyre . To replace or rather top up the Lds fluid on the reservoir will I have to repressure it again ? . can I just attach a car pressure tyre valve to the cap and do it that way ?.

Remember to check the fluid level on the lowest suspension setting - you shouldn't need to bleed it if just topping up - but note that the power steering is controlled by a separate pump, although it gets it's fluid from the same reservoir. Just follow the info for bleeding the steering in the previous post once your car is raising and lowering properly. If that fuse is constantly blowing - you really need to find the cause otherwise you are going to have potential problems.
Have you had any water damage to the car / flooding? If water has gotten into the BHI suspension pump, it could of corroded some elements and the motor is having to work harder (as you are running the motor longer by raising the car to it's highest level) and the extra strain / electrical drain can cause the fuse to blow. It should be a 40 Amp maxi fuse.

So I could have a short some where, Stickyfingers mentioned the motor pump may be the cause with a build up of carbon deposits. I bought the car second hand and always fighting with it but its such a great car to drive and as far as im aware never any water issues just no FAP filter and cannot find the ECU when plugged in to main Dealer comp or Lexia with another Independent garage so I never have the opportunity to search for code faults. Cest la vie
