Replaced the cabin filter among other "spring" jobs and noticed a blue connector which i hadn't noticed previously. Managed to take a photo. On the left is the glovebox and on the right the central console with the pollen filter opening. Any idea what it is for?

From far back in the distance of my memory, and most likely incorrect, I seem to recall it was alternative wiring to the door for alternative luxury models....
