Hi
I have a C4 THP make year 2009. My car is originally fitted with rear parking sensors. I want to install front parking sensors as well, but not aftermarket ones. Given I'll buy the 4 front sensors and their housing and the harness, will it function as it was originally installed i.e. the distance from the object will be displayed at the multifunction display, i.e. as the vehicle gets close to an obstacle, the sound signal becomes more rapid and the shading appears ever closer to the vehicle outline at the multifunction display
Thanks

Probably not that simple, you most likely have a parking sensor ECU that only supports rear sensors ... you'd first need to obtain an ECU that has front & rear sensors support, and then do some telecoding with Lexia/Diagbox to enable everything related ... here's a very similar topic to read more about the procedure:

Lancia58, read the whole topic, but basically first make sure you have the correct connectors at the front and wherever the reversing ecu is, then buy the parts, fit & configure.
Using all new genuine parts will cost around £500 going on my recent experience with my C5.
