Hi,
I have a Citroen C3 Sensodrive, which we have used quite happily for 4 years now.
On Sunday night it developed a noise, which I think maybe the clutch, but neither the local garage or myself are sure.
I originally thought that it was from the auxiliary belt, but all seems ok there.
The gearbox is working absolutely fine, clutch actuator is operating fine, but the noise, which seems to come and go is what I can only describe as a deep whirring sound.
There is always a slight high pitched whirring noise with these boxes, which must be from the clutch setup, but this now seems louder and there is a faint clutch smell.
Anybody had anything similar?

Re: Sensodrive Noise
If you can smell clutch, that's likely what it is, we get many issues with these & it's usually caused by the clutch being worn out. They don't seem to last much more than 40/50000miles

Re: Sensodrive Noise
Thank you very much, that would tie in, it has done 45,000 on this clutch.
