Have got a friend who has a c5 type 2 06 plate 2 hdi rhr and on start up only seems to fire on 2 cylinders and emits lots of smoke?Once warm it runs fine apart from a slight misfire at 4000 revs but still pulls like a train.
The injectors are new as are the glow plugs and the ecu has also been sent away and checked, when put on his snap on diagnostic machine there are no faults apart from 05190 unknown code! Also there are no warning lights on,Does anyone know what the fault could be?
Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

Re: Unknown Code
The best bet would be to put it onto a Lexia system (as PSA have this habit of not following the industry standard for fault codes and reading). I know the Snapon reader is expensive, but does it have PSA knowledge?

The snap on reader can read everything apart from the 01590 code?Hell Razor5543 wrote:The best bet would be to put it onto a Lexia system (as PSA have this habit of not following the industry standard for fault codes and reading).
