THP - Anti pollution systme fault

Hi

I have a C4 with AL4 and THP engine ( 140 bhp ). Today the Anti pollution system fault appears. But the check engine that is illuminated and the message itself the car drives OK. The car make year is 2009 and it has only 20K miles. Any ideas ?

But note that that post is regarding a diesel engine, not a petrol one.

I would agree that you will not get far without having the fault codes read, and it is much better to use a Lexia code reader if possible.

Make sure your oil cap is on correctly, we get loads with this not fitted correctly , it's makes the light come on.

After driving 140 miles the check engine turned off. Hope to find the time during the weekend to hock a Lexia and retrieve the fault code
