Hi
I'm going to be changing the cambelt on my 2005 307cc petrol and wondered where the crankshaft timing pin goes, I have found a hole on the n/s of the block that I thinks leads to the flywheel but it's about 21mm diameter, is this it and if so what diameter is the hole in the flywheel?

Re: 307cc cambelt change
I found the procedure for the same engine in the C5, and it shows a stepped timing pin, with a large central piece that fits in that big hole you appear to have found (it appears to be on the rear flange of the block). I found a timing pin set on e-bay which shows the same design of pin: timing pins
