Since the weather has changed and we have had some colder weather my 2009 C5 tourer has gained an annoying noise. Cant put my finger on it and it is beginning to bug me. Can anybody help me as to what this may be and is it a problem I could potentially fix? I have posted a link to a video.
Many Thanks for reading.
Chris

Re: Noisy Clutch !!
That sounds like dry joint/rubber to me
A little DOT4 (use a small brush) or some sort of "rubber lube" on the rubber and 3-1 in the peddle bearings as the first effort I would think.

Worth a first look....and its dry inside the car .....sounds rubbery to me so may also be the slave cylinder rubber. Does it do it with the engine turned off ??

Re: Noisy Clutch !!
I wondered what was going on in the video! - but once I turned my speakers on - sounds like mine was for a while - every time I engaged / disengaged the clutch I would get the same sound - got annoying, so just asked the dealer to look at it when it was in for servicing (to maintain warranty) and it was as Alasdair says - just needed lubricating.

I had a good look and listen today and you can barely hear it in the cabin. less than initially. Still as loud outside.
