c8 clutch pedal

help the clutch pedal on my daughters c8 keeps sticking down ,can anyone tell me what might be causing it to happen

Assuming there aren't any mechanical noises problems? If not, and it is working mechanically, check there are no leaks or loss of fluid. Next, look at the return spring on the clutch pedal. Sometimes the springs have been known to 'disappear' or get stuck, and if it is ok, check that it is greased. Failing that, start looking at the slave / master cylinder.
