I'm searchinig for a second hand Electronic Parking Brake for my Citroen C5 at a good price. If someone has one please reply to this post or send me an e-mail to [email protected].

I re-surrect this post because I'm searching for an advice from the expert. I bought a second hand electronic parking brake (the new one costs more than 1200€ !!).
After installing it and recalibrating I'm facing with the problem of making it recognisable by my car. In fact, in "manual mode" and with the engine on I can "manually" activate and deactivate the parking brake but when I activate the parking brake and then stop the engine (and take out the keys from the car), when I reinset the key in the car an error message appears and I cannot deactivate the parking brake anymore (I need to unblock it manually with the emergency procedure)... I suppose that is caused because the electronic parking brake was not new and it was already been installed and used on another vehicle... It's like a not accepted organ in a transplant...Is it possible to erase the old configuration and flash the second-hand electronic parking brake with the configuration on my car in order to make it working right??
In the Diagbox there is a "flashing" menu (in the Electronic Parking Brake "Repair" section) but I'm worried about working with this things and I don't know which configuration/parameters have to be set..
Is there someone can give me some advice/suggestions?

I would first suggest you do not ‘flash’ anything as this will try and connect to the PSA server and will possibly stuff your ECU, as has happened to another member recently.
In order to assist, there should be a diagnostic code being returned in Diagbox. Run the Global Test and let us know the fault codes being returned.
As for the configuration, it would help if you could take some pics of the Diagbox screens concerning the EPB and also post your VIN so I can determine others relevant options on your car that may need configuring.
There is also the matter of software for the EPB ECU, but let us see if we can rule out the obvious first.
