H1 headlight bulb recommendations?
I'm back in the Xantia now and after the wonderful lighting in the 605 I'm left wanting more. I shall look into the headlight relay mod at some point but would also like to hear if anyone has recommendations on decent bulbs?

Osram Nightbreakers seem to be the bulb of choice.
BUT
Do the Mod to the wires BEFORE you fit more powerful bulbs for safety sake...... (that is not a "cover my butt" warning either)

A second vote for them from me. They don't seem to last particularly long, but I do notice how good they are. You can get them relatively cheaply on the 'bay - somewhere in the order of £15 for two.Stickyfinger wrote:Osram Nightbreakers seem to be the bulb of choice.
Sadly no longer a C5 owner

And a third from me, I've used then in the past with very definite improvements. Combine it with the relay mod and S1 lights are nearly OK...

I will have to remember if he has done the relay mod to the lights.
