Re: citroen synergie driver side door mirror replacement
This from distant and possibly flawed memory, best I can do:
At the top end, you push the lock button down to make room to lift the door panel over when you finally get there. Or do you pull the plastic straight up leaving just a metal rod? Should be obvious when you come to it.
I think you pop the window switch panel up, screwdriver carefully under the end, and disconnect the wires.
There are screws on the armrest which comes off, also one or two around the speaker grille. There may be a screw behind the door release lever as well and you sort of wiggle the trim surround off but leave the lever mechanism in place.
With the speaker grille off you can unhook the door pocket (there may be a screw near the back of the pocket). Getting that off reveals more screws behind, maybe you have to take the speaker itself off. Its 10 years or so since I did it but I have a vague memory of lots of bits to dismantle.
With most of that stuff out of the way, you lever the panel off from the bottom and up each edge, poppers to unpop, then lift it off vertically. Maybe I had to take the plastic trim off the rear edge of the window frame, or at least ease it out.
Hopefully someone with more recent experience or a picture will reply soon. I don't remember it being particularly difficult, just tedious.
