Specialist

Unread post by C5_Jack »

Hello All

I should be the proud owner of a Citroen C5 in a couple of days.

I was wondering if someone knows a specialist around Oxford / Abingdon

Cheers

I have no personal experience of them (although a friend of mine used them when he had a Citroen BX), but Cleaver Cars in Reading are a PSA independent specialist.

We have a list of member-approved garages etc. here with an attendant map.
Unfortunately looks a bit of a desert in your area, hopefully someone can rectify that.

Hi and welcome

Which C5 are you getting ? date, engine, etc. If you post the vin we can give you the full build details as well.

Whatever you do, be "careful" of going to the Hartwells main dealership in Abingdon .....my "experience" with them was totally rubbish and shamed the brand in many ways

I'd say the "My Cars" on the left side of his post gives that answer: Citroen C5 Tourer 2013 2.2 HDI

:)

Maybe worth the drive over to Welwyn Garden City to see BL Auto I would think.......worth the time as their prices reportedly are good and their Citroen work VERY well known and respected.....One chap here goes there from Scotland because they are reportedly that good.

Thank you for the map and the welcome

I should pick it up tomorrow, so will have the VIN then.
Is it possible to find out all the options fitted to the car with the VIN? Or is there a different way?
( I called Citroen Customer Service who could not tell me anything)

I was aware of the dealer in Abingdon, When I visited them they sounded quite clueless.

"Work" is not too far from Slough and there are a couple of option there.

Cheers
