That's interesting - I have a clone that isn't really very good so may take advantage of the offer, need to go there anyway.

Will give Consett a miss as there is a Tesco Extreme or whatever they call them in Hexham too - looking for some Komodo peppers for my son, he likes the hot stuff

Re: Dremmel....Homebase
It all seemed to get very complicated
Much simpler in the days when the picture of that bus was taken....

Managed to pick one up at Blyth today. Not a bad deal at all although they still wanted to sell me the 3year extended warranty which i didnt need. Not worth the £3.90 cost in my opinion.

Re: Dremmel....Homebase
Got mine in Hexham and the same insurance offer which I didn't avail myself of. Bought chocolates instead
They had no cistern diaphragms though
Called at the Tesco for Komodo jalapeños, naturally they didn't have any.
Still spent £40+ quid there
And Aldi, next door to Tesco, forgot most of what I went in for
So al in all a successful trip and only 60 miles

Don't know how complicated your cistern is Steve. I fixed mine 25 years ago with a plastic CD sleeve (the flexible plastic ones not the hard case) Only just gone caput again so got the felt pen and the scissors out again and made another one, works perfectlymyglaren wrote: They had no cistern diaphragms though![]()
