Gear box oil 306 hdi

The correct gear box oil on the 306 hdi is 75w80 and it takes 2 litres.

So does this have to be fully or semi synthetic or no difference?

The oil I use is semi synthetic.I dont think it matters though? come to think about it I`ve never seen fully synthetic.

The correct viscosity rating (75w/80) is the most important thing... Try to get hold of some Total BV if you can...

A bit more than that at the dealer but my dealer is so much closer than GSF that it nullifies the difference.

I cannot remember how much I paid, but I do know it is less than my local Peugeot dealership. Last year, when I got some for Gracie, the dealership was about £2 more a litre.

I imagine if you add some engine oil, you could get it over £50 and get free delivery.
