You need to get a diag done really or you could be replacing things that you dont need to, so that is your first port of call. However the maf sensors do play up and cause your symptoms, i would try disconnecting it and see how it runs then.

I agree with Bick, in that you do need to get the van diagnosed, otherwise you will just waste money chasing the fault down. Fortunately there are members with Lexia kit willing to help other members;

You could try cleaning the maf with some carburettor cleaner only don't poke it, very delicate.

No fault codes too show have just put a new air filter on to see if it helps.
(need some cleaner to clean gauze filter and maf)
Disconected sensor but no difference.
Out in a bit so i'll see how it is.

If you are using a generic code reader on a Citroen or Peugeot it probably won't work (especially on older cars) as the PSA group use their own software. A Lexia can (as it is a clone of the PSA system) read them though, which is why I added the link in my previous post.

use some IPA in a jar for MAF,Isopropyl alcohol, use the same for the filter,you can buy a litre of it from Maplin stores, for around 5-10 quid.
