Rear seat upright catch has play??

Hi guys,
have a Very annoying rattle/squeak in the car, more apparent when the shelf isnt in as that pushes the seat back forwards a little, but the drivers side seat back in the rear when in Normal seating position has a fair bit of play in it.
i have loosened off the bracket in the boot and tried to push it back as far as i could but it is already back, and checked that the catch in the back of the seat but that has no movement on the mountings, Is there anyway to remove the play?? or am i looking at wrapping some rubber pipe around it!!!

The Estate is different from the Hatch and can't recall now if it's the hoop or the pin..

I'd have thought it was adjustable in some way though...

It has the Hoop that comes out of the back and the catch on the seat, wondering if then I should be moving the hoop Out more instead on in if that would help, or would it just move the play a little further away?

This is true! Will have a play a bit later, have an oven to deliver so will chuck the t50 in and move it a smidge whilst seat is down,
