Hi all,

I have just joined the forum, so a few words of introduction feel appropriate.

My name is Robert, a retiree based in northern New South wales, and the happy owner of a 1997 Xantia 1.8i 16v, my first and only Citroen. I acquired my Xantia at a car auction in North London in April 2000, had it shipped to Australia and registered in the state of New South Wales in April 2008. My Xantia has served me well, especially whilst based in the U.K., taking me onto the Continent eight times without a hitch.
Thanks to the material already posted on the forum I have been able to arrive at accurate diagnoses that have helped keep my car going in Australia over the past 7 years.

Welcome, that's great to hear - there aren't many citroens in Aus, after all.

Which scheme did you import the car under, out of interest? (have been looking into moving to Aus in a few years and working out how I might be able to take my car collection with me

)
