Going to break the box off the (Green Goblin) engine tomorrow....then ship it via pallet.
Anything worth a mention technique wise, what extra parts/wires/boxes should I include to make the life of the new owner/fitter easier.

Re: Stripping Box off V6 Engine
Unbolt the torque converter from the flex-plate before splitting the transmission from the engine. This needs to be done from below. Remove the crank position sensor before spitting the transmission from the engine, or it will catch on the flywheel.
Once the transmission is off, the torque converter should be restrained (from falling off the shaft), the factory do this with a suitable pin inserted through the crank position sensor hole in the bell housing.

Maybe a strap or lump of timber across the face of the bell housing to support the torque converter in case it gets jolted in transit. I am pretty sure that you are supposed to transport them with the torque converter attached too prevent contamination getting into the oilways.
Now that I think a little more, the pin to stop the torque converter falling off should be inserted before splitting the transmission from the engine.
