All in one parts search

Post by vborovic »

Since I'm always on a look out for spare (broken cars) parts, I've stumbled on this site (currently, the C5 is selected), seems to be a dynamic catalog from various sites, mostly ebay though ... but it has the car parts categories well visible ... if this page was already shared, feel free to ignore this post:

The search doesn't seem very helpful, I tried to find a Mitsubishi sump and it came up with everything but.

Nice one, and thanks for the share. OP and anyone else for that matter, ever used Mister Auto? I picked up a timing belt for a very fair price, and after browsing around the site I see they have tonnes of spare parts for tonnes of makes - including Mitsubishi.

Anyone else had any experience of them - I'd never heard of them until very recently.

I've had some success with Mister Auto - but I fear I may have been very lucky.

See my thread in Recommended Garages, etc back in October.

If you really want a fright do an internet search (care, there are a remarkable number of similarly named outfits in America)

Mister auto also have .fr, .ie and probably other web sites, each of which has a slightly different range of parts! So if looking for something obscure, it pays to check all of them.

I thought Mister Auto was a Belgian operation, it's certainly where my order came from, but I now believe they have a presence in most, if not all, EU countries - & a few others.

None of which alters the fact they seem to have a terrible reputation. As I've said, I had no issues BUT I'd think very carefully about using them again because, had I known what I know now, I doubt I'd have used them in the first place.

Proceed with caution! ;)
