QUick One: What's the best way to replace the female 4 way connector block (i.e burnt/corroded terminals), on a Xantia Mk2?
Can I OR Must I get the original plug with terminals somewhere, and what's it called? OR,
do I just use a generic 6.3mm 4-way multi plug connector, and it will push to fit existing male terminals on blower oK?

Re: xantia blower 4-way connector replacement?
John,
I'd try to get hold of a replacement plug in good condition with lengths of wires attached and then join into the existing loom but for now I'd just use 4 individual spades until such times...
A Xantia being scrapped should provide you with what you need...
Else, just cut out the burned ones and try to insert new spades so that at least a connection mistake cannot be made (or is more difficult to make)...
Whatever you do, just be very careful the right wire goes to the right pin or you could send both your blower regulator and A/C ECU into oblivion!

Blower on Xsara is almost identical, should have the same plug; I fitted the control board out of my Xantia to my Sister's Xsara. I suspect others will be the same as well.

Gracia Alasdair and Richard. `That should sort it. I needed a part or two from scrap to be sent out. and the xsara match will be useful;. John
