Re: Can Citroen C5 do same this?
I never dared try the thee wheel trick in my GS and was under the impression that it wouldn't work with a Xantia or C5 as they have McPherson struts while previous hydraulic Citroens and the C6s have double wishbone suspension that permits removal of a wheel you can do it with SAABs too.
As for running a Xantia with a flat tyre, I did try that - not voluntarily though - and it wouldn't budge.

Re: Can Citroen C5 do same this?
I have had CX's XMs, BX's and C5 and as far as I am aware no. I think the DS had a very long suspension travel and I suspect a stiff chassis. Its very easy to jack them up by putting them on full height then putting a log or something under the side you wish to remove the wheel from then lowering the suspension.

Re: Can Citroen C5 do same this?
I've driven a Xantia with no rear wheel, years ago after seeing an Xm in a video. It does work but I only dared to turn towards the missing wheel and even then it felt precarious. Not something I'd repeat unless it was a scrap car like last time. As for will a C5 manage it, no idea, does anyone have a scrapper they would experiment with?

Aren't the wheels rusted on?
