New BBC program, about the Red Arrows.

Unread post by Hell Razor5543 »

Well, I now know what I will (probably) be doing at 21:00 for the next 3 Sundays. "Britain's Ultimate Pilots: Inside the RAF". Just watched the first episode, and the Red Arrows had to do 3 displays in 2 days (flying over Buckingham Palace for The Queen's Official Birthday, a display the same day at Biggin Hill (including a flight with 2 Hurricanes and 3 Spitfires), and then a display the following day over RAF Cosford (couldn't land there, the runway is too short).

When I was looking around to find the pic of the Vulcan, I found an old forum post entitled "Wow! just Wow..." from andmicit.

Included this nice image, worth another airing four years on :!:

"backstage" at Hurn airport last year, the pilots seems to be just out of university, so young (or I'm so so old).
