Hi
i am going to change the rear axle on a 1.4 2003 206.
It looks quite straight forward to do but i wanted to check whats best done about the brake compansator, is it best just to connect up the one on the replacement axle, as it should be sent up rather than use the original ? i expect both a seized but that thats no problem !!

Re: 206 rear axle change
You really want it to be working, unless you want to meet the back end of your car coming past you. It will fail MOT if it's seized. I would find out how to set it up properly (sorry, don't know!).

I am guessing that its seized, they are easy to free off which i will do before its fitted.
