My colleague's C5 has popped up warning messages about the filter blocking, and we hooked up Lexia today. There were a few faults showing, and they all cleared. apart from something bout the heat relays which I've always ignored on other hdi cars.
The filler cap shows present/absent as it should on live readouts, so the magnets are working. Lexia shows the DPF at 34%, and 154Km since regen. there's 3000ml of additive left. We couldnt do the audible pump tests, as the compressors at work would have overpowered the sound of the clicking valves !
In the engine menus there was an indication that additive addition was impossible, and when we asked for a forced regen just for interest, the response was that it was impossible, but no further explanation.
Any reasons that people know of why additive could not be injected ? All faults are clear now, and we will log in again next week to see what's there.
