Hi everyone.
Wondering if someone can shed some light on a slight fault I have on my new (new to me) C5 1.6 Tourer. (156pk version)
I am getting a slight hesitation. The garage that used to look after it for the previous owner has told us it is the cam chain that has stretched. He seems fairly confident about this but I was curious of other peoples opinions before I look into this further.
Thanks in advance
Craig

Re: C5 hesitation
Just a quick thought, air getting into the fuel, possibly from the filter housing and associated pipework?
If it can happen it will.

Re: C5 hesitation
Never thought that a problem on petrol cars. Worked on Ford diesels for 16 years so I could understand from an oil burner.
