I want to look out for Xantia 2.0hdi for a test drive to compare with C5 before I decide which to buy. I am confuse there is two engine type 90 or 110 so how do I identification the engine by chassis number but what is the number and one of man told me the 110 have intercooler location at the side of gearbox is that right?

Very easily.. Look under the bonnet and if you see a turbo pipe running next to and to the left of the air filter box then you have a 110...
The 90 does not have this pipe as it has no intercooler.. In fact, that's another way, just look for two big hoses going to the intercooler to confirm it's a 110..
I expect another will soon post an under-bonnet picture to illustrate what I've just described..

Knicked from falling-out-with-my-car's recent post (this is a 110):
110s have RHZ in the VIN, whereas 90s are RHY
Xantia intercooler is full width so not easily seen, but you can't miss that pipe! C5 110 has a side mounted intercooler.
