MAF

Hi fellow enthusiasts,

My MAF (Mass air flow sensor) on my Jumpy 2003 2.0HDI is defective. On mine it says its a Siemens 9629471080 5WK9. Then a guy has a new one that he says its for a C8 or an 807 and its called 5WK9 but its not a Siemens, and thus has not the serial number thats on my Siemens. Have checked scrap yards on the net and for Jumpy they all seem to be Siemens with the numbers like mine. And there seem to be no difference to the MAFs if its a 90 or 110hp.

Anybody got an idea?

With regard to MAF's.....it has been shown many many times that the "cheapo's" are in fact a waste of money in most cases as they either play up quickly or just fail.

I cannot help (post your vin to allow one of us to find the parts number/fitments) atm with the specific part for your Skippy but a working 2nd is normally a better bet that a new pattern.

Thanks, but I already have an order half way in at the dealers which is the original one. Thought I`d save 50% as the car already has 300.000km on it, and I dont think it will last another 300.000

I have found that a secondhand original MAF is a better bet than a cheap new one and probably cheaper!

Have to agree with all that's been said here. I bought a cheapo one off ebay but it failed at just over 1000 miles, the seller replacing it but better to stick to genuine parts for these.
