C5 brake caliper carrier bolt size NOW FOUND!!!!!

Ay up!

I have just had a very lucky escape indeed.

On investigating a knock in the LHS front suspension I discovered a mullered drop link. This is a strange one, a cheap Chinese copy with an Allen socket in between two sizes! Interestingly, despite needing a noisy spanner* the threads had been well greased with copperslip. Removing the lower one was "interesting." The sparks from the grinder ended up flying towards my fisog which hurt! Even though I was covered by goggles, baseball cap and a beard.

The wheel fell yesterday with the outer face upwards so all looked well and I had no reason to suspect anything else, today, when grinding off the nuts, the wheel fell outside face down and saw the track that has been worn in the inside of the wheel. Investigation showed that one of the bolts is missing,

I am looking at all possibilities including an independent specialist but, if all that fails, what size of bolt do I need?

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

STOP PRESS!!!!! The answer came up on another "thread." Geddit? LMBO!!!!! It is M12 x 65 with a Torx T55 head. Thanks for looking, guys!!!
